I have broad interests in
computer networking and wireless networks research. My current
focus is ..
Study
of the performance limits of IEEE 802.11 technologies
- Master's Thesis
Analytical study of
IEEE 802.11a/b/g protocols deployed separately and in combination i.e.
b/g enable us to evaluate the theoretical maximum performance of these
protocols e.g. maximum achievable throughput under "ideal" conditions.
Throughput and end-to-end delay are metrics of interests. Factors such
as packet size, SNR, load, and distance from the access point have been
considered. Some behavior of IEEE 802.11g in harsh conditions (LKAB
underground iron ore mine) characterized in this work.
Validation of
EURANE
simulation
model for HSDPA
- Ericsson Project *
WCDMA Release 5 extends the WCDMA
specification with a new downlink transport channel, called the
high-speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH). This channel enhances
support for interactive and background traffic, by introducing reduced
delays and peak data rates of up to 14 Mbit/s.
In this project we focused on HSDPA implementation in
EURANE
Model and our aim was to validate the functionality of the HSDPA schemes
esp. HARQ in different simulation scenarios in
EURANE
model.
We compare our findings with the 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership
Project) documentation and other research papers.
