About Figlet ^^^^^^^^^^^^ To get something like this: ____ ____ .__ \ \ / /___________ ____ ____ |__| ____ _____ \ Y // __ \_ __ \/ _ \ / \| |/ ___\\__ \ \ /\ ___/| | \( <_> ) | \ \ \___ / __ \_ \___/ \___ >__| \____/|___| /__|\___ >____ / \/ \/ \/ \/ or this: __ __ _ \ \ / /__ _ _ ___ _ _ (_)__ __ _ \ V / -_) '_/ _ \ ' \| / _/ _` | \_/\___|_| \___/_||_|_\__\__,_| or some other "ascii art font", try one of these: http://mediacube.datacom.de/cgi-bin/moniteurs/figlet http://www.surfplaza.com/figlet/ ftp://ftp.internexus.net/pub/figlet http://st-www.cs.uiuc.edu/users/chai/figlet.html http://www.inf.utfsm.cl/cgi-bin/figlet They are sites with a program called "Figlet" that "translates" ordinairy text to text "painted" as ascii art. It can be downloaded and run on your computer or used directly on the web, where it can be found in the form of CGI scripts. ASCII art info ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The newsgroup alt.ascii-art is also a good place to request sigs (be careful though, that group is probably the only place on Usenet where big sigs are on-topic, so some of the sigs you see there might not be ideal for use in other newsgroups). The ascii art FAQ can be found here: http://studserv.stud.uni-hannover.de/~freise/ascii/faq.html You might get some ideas from looking at other people's sigs. I have a little collection of sigs here: http://www.ludd.luth.se/~vk/pics/ascii/junkyard/sigs/ -- _ __ __ _ _ __ ___.--'_`. \ \ / /__ _ _ ___ _ _ (_)__ __ _ .'_`--.___ __ ( _`.'. - 'o` ) \ V / -_) '_/ _ \ ' \| / _/ _` | ( 'o` - .`.'_ ) _\.'_' _.-' \_/\___|_| \___/_||_|_\__\__,_| `-._ `_`./_ ( \`. ) //\` '/\\ ( .'/ ) \_`-'`---'\\__, uggc://jjj.yhqq.yhgu.fr/~ix/ ,__//`---'`-'_/ \` `-\ r93-ixa@fz.yhgu.fr /-' '/ ` ascii art chat: http://www.ludd.luth.se/~vk/cgi/asciichat/ '
