before the sun came up. It was beautiful. Only a few other people
and a dog seen

But I hear it's even worse now (from my mom, who is a teacher). Most

shimrod; I can sympathize with her. (Now that I use a calculator, I
find that I hardly ADD 6 to 7 without its aid.) One of my friends
has a son who is 11 and his teacher is urging her to get him a word
processor so that he can hand in legible essays. (He draws very well
so there isn't really a reason for him not to just improve his
handwriting.)
