shimrod; I also vaguely recall somethings about chromosomes... (that IS to do with DNA?) yes it's about 2 hours since sunrise. I shovelled in the dark just before the sun came up. It was beautiful. Only a few other people and a dog seen no white Christmas here either.

chromosomes got something to do with DNA allright. Wouldn't know exactly what anymore though :-) I did actually follow biology through highschool, but I never did much with it :-)

shimrod; I know what you mean. That's why I took an extra math course instead of biology. It seemed like there was far too much reading involved in the biology class (not to mention the unsavory experiments on worms and frogs)

shimrod; I can sympathize with her. (Now that I use a calculator, I find that I hardly ADD 6 to 7 without its aid.) One of my friends has a son who is 11 and his teacher is urging her to get him a word processor so that he can hand in legible essays. (He draws very well so there isn't really a reason for him not to just improve his handwriting.)
