hello shimrod, brojek and VK (have I missed anyone?) I'm attempting
to multitask  hahahaahahahahaha  good luck to me!

clocks.

shimrod; and I hate the idea of being a slave to the three minutes

brojek is right. Keys don't work. I will just have to discipline
myself to either learn how to multitask or quit trying to do it
in the first place.

brojek; I used to carefully put my clock out of reach so I'd HAVE
to get out of bed to turn it off. Somehow, each morning I managed
to reach the clock and still have at least one toe under the covers

I just realized why I am having SO much difficulty with this multi
tasking thing. I have not yet done any forbidden activity today. I've
been awake for 5 hours... what an idiot. I shall fade away.

Ojoshiro; I might ask a similar question:  lizzy????

shimrod; that would be cheating, not to mention messing up the bed
so it wouldn't be comfy.

brojek; once when I was playing in a pit orchestra, one of my friends, after
one of the songs, turned to her partner and asked why they hadn't
told anyone that the previous song was being omitted. He was very very
surprised and said that we had just played it. She replied, "Did I???"

She slept through the whole thing and still has no recollection of
playing it!! Her partner claims that she played perfectly.
