So, who am I? Well, I was born in 1976 in Indal, a rather small village in the middle of Sweden. When I was 10 years old I moved to the nearby town Sundsvall with my parents and two younger sisters. I also have an older sister, but she had already moved out by then.
I finished the senior high school NNv-programme in 1995, after which I studied Computers and Mathematics for a year at the Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall. Later in 1996 I started my CS education in Luleå.
In the spring of 1997 I was asked to join "Datasektionens Sexmästeri", also known as D6, and stayed a member for a little more than a year. During this time I helped arranging a couple of parties and had a great great deal of fun together with the rest of D6 and other students all over Sweden. Soon after my year was up, I was accepted as member #28 by "Dörrstopp" which is an association of former D6 members whose purpose is to support future D6 generations and help old members to stay in touch even after leaving LTU.
Triggered by an impressive display firework shot at the annual ball "Geolusset" in 1997 i decided to apply for a membership in the pyrotechnical society of the university and managed to be accepted in January 1998.
After fulfilling two years as president of "Pyrot" i was alerted to the fact, that the position as president of the interest organisation for computer science related students; "Datasektionen", was about to be vacant. I therefore applied for it together with a friend of mine that applied for the position as vice president. We were accepted by the meeting and spent a year together with the rest of the board. During this time we achieved quite a lot and managed to raise the universities awareness regarding our members needs, get a bigger influence in our umbrella organisations decision making as well as strengthen the organisations economy considerably.
In addition to this I have also been spending a lot of time on various private and commercial programing projects in different languages.
