:: Our Home ::

We bought the house in October 2000, and moved from our apartment in Luleå to the house in the same month. The house's living area is 176 m² and storage rooms, garage etc. is 139 m². The garden 1064 m² and is right next to a lake.

There are 6 rooms, 1 is a guest room in the basement, 2 of them are bedrooms and 1 is our workroom. We have 2 living/TV-rooms and 2 kitchens, one big upstairs and one small downstairs.

We have 2 fireplaces, one in each living room, and I love to lit a fire and relax in front of it.

My Finnish blood loves the fact that we have a sauna and I like to sit in there and feel how the hot air is cleaning the body.

We were looking for a house and found this on the Internet and fell in love with the garden. We just had to go there and watch it. It was as beautiful as in the pictures. We placed a bid and got the house.

After living here for a while we start to see the house with other eyes and see all the things that needs to be repaired and fixed. It is almost like an ordinary crush, you do not see the flaws when you are madly in love.

Items on our fix-list:

• The bricks on the outside needs to be fixed.
• New windows everywhere.
• New carpets in the basement.
• New wallpaper in the guest room, living room and our bedroom.
• New doors to the kitchen cupboards.
• New paint on the walls in the laundry room.
• Repainting the toilet downstairs.
• Repainting all wood detail on the outside of the house.

But even with all this things to fix I love our home and hope that we can live here for a long time. Just being able to sit in the living room and watch the lake is worth a lot.
