Alternative spring for front brake caliper when using M5 E34 rims on M3 E30

When using the M5 E34 rim on M3 E30 there is a clearance problem with the spring on the front brake caliper.
This can be solved by using an 5 mm spacer. I don't like spacers, so I looked for an alternative spring which would give a better clearance. I found a suitiable spring used by some Ford models, see list below:
I have tried to find the ATE-number for the spring by using ATE's online-catalogue but the range of Ford models listed makes me a little bit uncertain. Therefore I have left that information out until I'm 100% certian.

For comparison between the standard spring and the "Ford" spring see the pictures below.
From what I can estimate there's probably no need for spacers even with new pads and brake discs when using this spring. I had done two track days with my new pads and brake discs before installing the spring. During one of the events the weather conditions (+5C and rain) offered good cooling for brakes so the pads were a bit worn but not much.
